💼 Role Overview: Human Resources Implementation Manager

Perennial Services Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Integration/HR Manager to lead and support M&A transactions and integration activities across our expanding network of companies. This role requires a detail-oriented, adaptable professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects—from onboarding new companies and employees to support ongoing HR operations and compliance efforts.

📋 Key Responsibilities

M&A and Integration

  • Lead and support the HR integration of newly acquired companies, including onboarding, payroll setup, 401(k) enrollment, benefits administration, and compliance alignment.
  • Build trust with incoming teams and employees, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition to new processes and systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting and other departments on M&A-related tasks and projects, especially those tied to payroll and compliance.
  • Manage multiple concurrent integrations efficiently and with a high degree of professionalism.

HR Operations & Support

  • Provide ongoing HR support to field locations and the HR Director when not engaged in M&A activities.
  • Assist with HR initiatives, policy implementation, and compliance programs.
  • Serve as a key contributor to ongoing process improvements and HR best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environments, often managing several time-sensitive projects simultaneously with minimal direction.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in unstructured settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with and support employees during times of change.
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • ADP Workforce Now (payroll, benefits, onboarding modules)
    • Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel (data management), PowerPoint (presentations), Word (documentation), and Teams (collaboration)
  • Ability to analyze and present data, generate reports, and develop clear, impactful presentations.
  • Travel up to 25% to numerous states conducting open enrollment sessions and meeting with the leadership of new partnerships. In addition, team meetings several times a year in a variety of states.

You Bring

  • 3+ years in implementation/project management and basic Human Resources knowledge.
  • Strong planning, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A self-starter mentality and ability to work independently
  • Technical fluency to communicate with software/development teams
  • ADP experience strongly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Benefit and 401k plans
  • A hands-on, solution-driven mindset
  • Comfort and professionalism working across diverse teams and at all organizational levels
  • Passion for HR, process optimization, and organizational growth

🧾 Physical Requirements

This role requires the physical and mental capability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced professional environment. The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time, which may occur during long meetings, on-site visits, or while working at a computer station.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, such as office supplies, presentation materials, or small equipment, in support of day-to-day responsibilities or during travel.
  • Demonstrate sufficient manual dexterity and coordination to operate standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, phones, and other digital tools essential to daily communication and documentation.
  • Travel regularly via commercial air travel, including navigating airports, boarding flights, handling luggage, and adjusting to varying time zones, as required to support implementation activities across various partner locations.
  • Maintain a professional and composed demeanor in high-pressure or rapidly changing environments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders both internally and externally.
